Tina Camino grew up in rural Pennsylvania. She traveled extensively within the continental United States, developing a deep love for the natural beauty of the country. Camino found great inspiration in the landscape, which fueled her interest in and passion for photography. Inevitably she began to explore Cape Cod, and eventually settled in Provincetown, where she has lived for over a decade.
For Camino, it is impossible to capture an image without imbuing it with personal emotion. Her photos occur at that exact point where she witnesses the light and landscape fuse into a moment of profound beauty and serenity. She invites the viewer to go beyond the surface and the visual impact of her work to experience the depth of feeling these images evoke.
Her photographs have been exhibited at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) and are in several private collections throughout the United States.
